It is not the file you upload to HMRC. **Complete Owner and Agency Details:** Ensure that all required owner details have been added to the Anytime Booking Management System (BMS), and your HMRC **Unique Portal ID** and **TIN** have also been entered here is an [article on applying those to your Anytime Account](https://knowledgebase.anytimebooking.co.uk/knowledge/applying-your-dac7-unique-portal-id?hsLang=en). **Download the trial DAC7 MS Excel file:** - - Log into the Anytime BMS and select the **Owners** main menu option, - Select "**Manage | Owners**", - Click the button labelled **Create DAC7 Trial Excel File** on the right-hand side to download the DAC7 report. ![Screenshot 2025-01-29 at 11.20.20](https://knowledgebase.anytimebooking.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202025-01-29%20at%2011.20.20.png?width=670&height=143&name=Screenshot%202025-01-29%20at%2011.20.20.png) - - Next, the appropriate consideration period that reflects when you pay your Owners; either by arrival or payment received. 2024 is the first year of reporting. This is the same payment information you would see when generating Owner Summaries. **Check Report Details:** - - Please check that all reporting Owners are within the file - Please check the consideration values (cross reference against Payouts). If you feel you have missed any payments please update your payout for that month. **The file contains 3 tabs/sheets**: i. **Message Spec**: Contains identification details (like the Sending Entity IN provided by HMRC). ii. **Platform Operator (Agent)**: Provides details about your business (like TIN, which corresponds to a Company Reference Number or UTR). iii. **Reportable Sellers**: Lists the owners/sellers with their address/bank details, their property/ies, bookings and revenue, with one row per property.   **2. Purpose of the excel file**: - - To ensure all necessary information is complete and correct before uploading the XML version to HMRC. - To help identify missing data.   Once you have made any changes, please allow 30 minutes before generating a new MS Excel spreadsheet.  ### When you are ready, download your XML Once you are happy with the information in the trial file, return to the DAC7 Reports area and generate the XML file for submission to HMRC. You won't be able to see what is inside the XML as it is specifically coded to be accepted by HMRC in your Operator Portal. Your MS Excel Trial version is a translation of the XML report.
