This short guide will help you create a trial MS Excel file for DAC7

How to create and review your DAC7 trial MS Excel file

Complete Owner and Agency Details:
Ensure that all required owner details have been added to the Anytime Booking Management System (BMS), and your HMRC Unique Portal ID and TIN have also been entered here is an article on applying those to your Anytime Account.

Download the trial DAC7 MS Excel file:

    • Log into the Anytime BMS and select the Owners main menu option,
    • Select "Manage | Owners",
    • Click the button labelled Create DAC7 Trial Excel File on the right hand side to download the DAC7 report.

  • Next, select the year you are reporting for (defaults to 2024 for you in this case) and select the Create File button to create the trial MS Excel file.

Check Report Details:

    • On downloading, either open the file directly in MS Excel, or save it to your computer, to allow you to open it later in MS Excel or upload it to Google Sheets, for example.  

    • If any of the details are incorrect, verify the payments logged against bookings.

Logging additional payments:

  • Open the Anytime BMS and locate the bookings which require payments adding. (Remember to adjust the Arrival Date in the 'Manage Bookings' list to 2024).
  • Once in the Payments tab of the booking make sure to backdate the Payment date to the date it was received in 2024 so that it is included correctly in your report.

  • Once you have made these changes please allow 30 minutes before generating a new MS Excel spreadsheet.
