This means when a direct booking or iCal booking is received, the Diary can auto block X number of days either side of the booking automatically for you. To setup the booking buffer head over to your initials \> Configuration \> Units.  Double click into your unit and select the 'Options' tab. Here you will find the ability to add a booking buffer X number of days before arrival, and X number of days after departure. ![Screenshot 2024-03-01 at 11.12.56](https://knowledgebase.anytimebooking.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202024-03-01%20at%2011.12.56.png?width=688&height=74&name=Screenshot%202024-03-01%20at%2011.12.56.png) Once you have completed this on a per unit basis ensure you [publish your changes](https://knowledgebase.anytimebooking.co.uk/knowledge/publish-changes?hsLang=en).  Next time a direct or iCal booking is received, you'll find your Diary has been blocked off as below.
