How to setup a booking buffer
You can now setup a 'booking buffer' on each of your units. This means when a direct booking or iCal booking is received, the Diary can auto block X number of days either side of the booking automatically for you.
To setup the booking buffer head over to your initials > Configuration > Units.Double click into your unit and select the 'Options' tab. Here you will find the ability to add a booking buffer X number of days before arrival, and X number of days after departure.
Once you have completed this on a per unit basis ensure you publish your changes.
Next time a direct or iCal booking is received, you'll find your Diary has been blocked off as below.
Please Note: Booking buffers do not work with API bookings. it currently only works for online, telephone, and ical bookings.
If you select the block off you can unblock this as normal, and the note will always display as 'Booking Buffer'.

If you change the number of buffer days or turn this feature off, please note that you will need to manually update any existing bookings to remove the old buffer days or adjust them to match the new setting.
