The Roadmap 2025-26

Continuation from the October 2025 email newsletter

We’re not slowing down. Looking ahead, our focus is on making Anytime smarter, faster, and easier for you and your guests to use.

roadmap

The single most significant package of work (made up of many parts), which will run all through next year is “Project Compass”, representing a focus on improving usability, consistency and flexibility, and making the software simpler and more intuitive… the general theme is that we want you to see the software getting better, simpler, smarter and faster.

Many of the other developments we are planning for next year are also about improving or extending the software in other ways.  Here are a few selected highlights, coming up:

  • We will soon release support for self-sign up Xcover (previously known as “Booking Protect”) so that guests can sign up for flexible and comprehensive refund protection if they are unable to attend for covered reasons, which improves the chances of bookings going ahead and you can earn money in the process!
  • On the theme of insurance products, a link with Sensible Weather, so that holiday makers can claim if bad weather ruins their trip, is also on the horizon.
  • We’ll soon be working on extra security features for the BMS for 2FA (two factor authentication), to give you peace of mind.
  • Linked with security, we will also be working on building further system and infrastructure resilience and early warning systems, so that all aspects of the platform can perform well, especially during the biggest booking days.
  • The new booking form (also known as the new checkout) will start to have embedded payments enabled for selected payment gateways, meaning that guests will not have to move to another page/tab to complete their payment.  This should reduce cart abandonment and provide a much smoother purchasing experience for guests.
  • Enhancements are also planned to the ‘guest login’, both in terms of functionality (including allowing guests to pay for extras), and bringing the branding in line with the new checkout.
  • Finally, we will also be launching our new Out of Hours service to provide enhanced support outside of normal office hours, to offer peace of mind to those that need it. This will be a charged service, added to your monthly subscription. More details to follow.
