Managing your Owners

You are able to archive or reinstate an owner record

Managing your Owners efficiently is an essential part of maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in your system. With the Owners area, you have the ability to organise and manage your Owners by categorising them as Active, Inactive, or Archived. This functionality allows you to track the status of each Owner at a glance and make necessary adjustments as needed.

Understanding the Owners Area

Within the Owners area, you will find three key statuses:

1. Active Owners: These are Owners currently engaged and active in your system.
2. Inactive Owners: Owners who are temporarily inactive before Archiving takes place.
3. Archived Owners: Owners whose records are stored for reference but are no longer part of active operations.

By selecting All Owners, you can view the comprehensive list of all Owners and their current status. This overview is particularly helpful for quickly identifying which Owners are active, inactive, or archived.

Archiving an Owner

Archiving an Owner is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to ensure the Owner's status is accurately updated:

1. Navigate to the Owners section and locate the relevant Owner's profile.
2. Click on the Owner to access their detailed record.
3. Update the status:
   • Untick the Active checkbox.
   • Tick the Archived checkbox.
4. Save your changes to archive the Owner.

The archived Owner will now appear in the Archived Owners category and will no longer be listed under Active Owners.

Reinstating an Archived Owner

If an archived Owner returns and needs to be reactivated, you can easily reinstate them:

1. Locate the Owner's record in the Archived Owners section.
2. Click on their profile to open their details.
3. Update the status:
   • Tick the Active checkbox.
   • Untick the Archived checkbox.
4. Save your changes to move the Owner back to the Active Owners list.
