However, some discount and promotion options remain available within Airbnb. This article explains which options you can use and which ones are not supported by the API pricing model. ### What can I still manage in Airbnb? Some Airbnb discount options remain available after connecting. #### Early Bird discounts: Early Bird discounts can still be configured in Airbnb. These discounts can be used to encourage guests to book further in advance. #### Last-Minute discounts: Last-Minute discounts can still be configured in Airbnb. These discounts can be used to encourage bookings closer to the arrival date. #### Custom Promotions: **Take care** when using Custom Promotions. A Custom Promotion can override the prices sent to Airbnb through the API. Airbnb calculates the promotional price using its own pricing rules rather than simply applying the promotion to the rate provided by Anytime Booking. This means the final price shown to guests may differ from the price you expect based on your Anytime Booking rate. If you use a Custom Promotion, always check the resulting guest-facing price in Airbnb. For more information, see [Airbnb's Help Centre guidance](https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/2721). ### Discounts we do not recommend using Weekly, monthly and other stay-length discounts are **not supported by the API pricing model**. We therefore recommend that you do not use these discounts for listings connected through the Anytime Booking API. If you need to change the pricing for different lengths of stay, manage your **Length of Stay Rates in Anytime Booking** instead. ### Where should I manage my pricing? As a general rule: | Pricing or discount | Manage in | | --- | --- | | Standard rates | **Anytime Booking** | | Length of stay rates | **Anytime Booking** | | Minimum night stays | **Anytime Booking** | | Check-in/check-out rules | **Anytime Booking** | | Availability | **Anytime Booking** | | Early Bird discount | **Airbnb** | | Last-Minute discount | **Airbnb** | | Custom Promotion | **Airbnb – use with caution** | | Weekly/monthly stay discounts | **Not supported** | ### Checking your final guest price After making a change to a discount or promotion in Airbnb, check the guest-facing price to make sure it is displaying as expected. In Airbnb: 1. Open your **Listing**. 2. Select **View Listing**. 3. Select **Check Dates**. 4. Enter the dates you want to check. 5. Review the price shown to the guest. This is particularly important when using Custom Promotions, as they can override prices supplied by the API. ### Important The Airbnb API controls the pricing information sent from Anytime Booking to Airbnb. Airbnb discounts and promotions are applied within Airbnb and can therefore affect the final price presented to guests.
