Bookings received from Pitchup V2

What information will be received from a booking taken through Pitchup?

 

This is a quick guide to show you the level of guest information you will receive in a booking from Pitchup.

This is an instant connection, so as soon as the booking has been confirmed, Pitchup will send the booking detail to Anytime.

Very occasionally, this doesn't happen, usually  due to a conflict in a booking rule between the channel and what you have set in Anytime. For example, a 2-night length of stay could be set in the channel, but it's set as a 3-night in Anytime.

If this happens, Anytime will email you with the booking issue.

Here is the visual guide of the booking detail with annotations in blue. At the bottom of the article we will cover booking amendments.

1. Each party member is added here, 2. Number of nights is added per guest 3. Cost of additional guests who are not included in your inclusive number(please ensure the same rules/prices apply in both systems).

Self explanatory: full name, postal address, customers email address, contact number and car registration given.

All assigned extras will show here. If you create any new extras either side, let us know and we can assign these for new requests to come in.

Each payment type will automatically add to the booking as a Pitchup PayUp Method. The Deposit payment of the Pitchup Agent fee will show on the booking, followed by a further payment of the Remainder due if applicable.

Here under the Internal Notes you will see the size and type of unit information from Pitchup.

If you have Pre arrival and Follow up emails set up in your Anytime Account, and these are set up to automatically send, then these will also send to your Pitchup guests. The bonus of this is to encourage future direct bookings. 

We hope this gives a level of understanding about what you will receive when you connect to Pitchup.

 

 

Amending a Pitchup booking:
Please note if the customer asks directly to amend their Pitchup booking, you can do this in Anytime and take the Further Payment over the phone(the online guest area is not available for Pitchup bookings to pay online.

Currently please remove the Agent Fee to correct the Balance Due, and then flag the payment in Pitchup so that they do not take the automated payment. Also with our V2 connection, the amendment of dates will update in Pitchup automatically.
